After speaking only Portuguese for 22 years, I decided it was time for me to learn another language...
Then English come into the picture.
By simply organizing the available resources and creating an 'English universe' around me, I was able to understand and be understood in a matter of months.
Following those proved principles, I learned Spanish naturally, and now I am thinking about a third language.

Between 1991 and 1993 I served as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in my own country - whose language is Portuguese.
As I wanted to learn English and I had a companion who wanted to help me, I started learning this beautiful language.
